This nest box is the perfect way to help dormice in your area. The dormouse is a small, squirrel-like mammal that is becoming increasingly rare. This nest box is the perfect way to help them, as it is made from solid timber and can be personalized with your name or message. The dormouse is a protected species, so by helping to provide them with a safe place to nest, you can ensure their future.

• A Dormouse nest box, much like a Bird nest box, is intended to be fitted to a tree. The entrance on a Dormouse next box is at the rear of the box, as opposed to the front.
• This keeps it safe from predators and protects their species, providing an environment that may not naturally be available due to issues such as farming.
• You should site the nest box approximately 1.5m above ground on a tree or other suitable structure with the entrance hole facing inwards.
• Each nest box is supplied with steel fixing brackets and screws for easy installation.
